Check out the 2009 schedule for Macon National Dragway in 2009. There is a 3 part motorcycle series for us girls entitled what else "Draggin Ladies"!!! Hey hey.. sorry been out of the loop for a bit... congrats on puttin this together Petey... but I didn't see anything on the site for details of the payouts... I noticed one of the event dates is the same as the AMA's in April :O(

Hey Ladies,

As far as the races for the Draggin Ladies Races at Macon National Dragway, we haven't decided what the payouts will be for the races yet but I can tell you the last time the owner did an all female race the payout was $4000.00 and our very own Gloria was the winner!

cool deal.. do they have a date of when that information will be made available?

Unfortunately I need to get my agenda secured pretty soon for my summer plans and cost of traveling and payouts make a huge deciding factor for me since it all comes out of my pocket. :O(

Sure wish I was closer to the middle LOL - would love to come run with you more often.. your track sounds great... you'll have to see about coming up this way sometime.. you'll love the 1/4 mile..

I wish too, that you were closer. Know that I began racing the 1/4 mile and yes, I do love it!!! I know you're getting geared up for the season...good luck to you and hope to see you at some event!

Hmm... so the first two events payout one amount then the final event is the biggie?

Or how does the 3 part series work?

As for you having done the 1/4 first... SWEET... I'm not sure I could do only the 1/8 all the time... just something about wanting the thrill to last longer.. theheeheheheh...

Yeah, we will payout for the first two and then bigger in the championship, hoping to double it. The eighth has sharpened my skills for sure, but you're right i can really try to break the mutha f@#$%^ throttle off in the 1/4...that is a lot of fun ;))

Oh I can only imagine.. you gotta make it happen all in the short half... no second half available to try to make a come back from either a bad tree or a bog off the line... def. a harder ball game for sure being just the 1/8th...

I always wanted to give my try at the LSR (the Mile) just to see what TOP SPEED felt like LMAO... almost made it out 2007 but other plans got in the way then my bike turned into a drag only type setup and wouldn't have been too good for the LSR stuff anymore.. one day however.. one day I might be lucky enough to jockey someone's just to try it...
